Your shop has been generating valuable data for years, just by making parts

The public internet has been used up for AI training. What labs need now is the record of how real parts get made, and it only exists inside real shops.

PolyTrove turns your old CAD files, work orders, routings and shop emails into a licensed dataset, and a payout.

How the process works

Your files are licensed for AI training. You keep every original file.

  1. 1

    Review & pricing

We look at what your shop holds across CAD, ERP, quality and email systems, then bring you a priced offer based on the size, depth and uniqueness of the files.

  2. 2

    Contracting

Licensing terms are set in writing before anything moves, including how your data is anonymized, who can use it and how long it is kept.

  3. 3

    Delivery & acceptance

You prepare and transfer a copy through an approved secure method. Nobody logs into your systems. The copy is reviewed for completeness.

  4. 4

    Payment

Your shop is paid in full after acceptance, with deals typically ranging from $100K to $2M.

Frequently asked questions

  • AI labs based in the U.S. and allied countries. PolyTrove qualifies your company, matches it to the right lab, and stays your contact through pricing, contracting and payment. You will know which lab it is before anything is shared.

  • No. You license the right to use a copy for AI training under a written contract. Your company keeps ownership and every original file.

  • Data that shows how work actually gets done: email history, support tickets, SOPs, project folders, CRM records, call logs, technical drawings and design files. Several years of records across multiple systems is the strongest fit.

  • Once your data is submitted, the AI lab's data engineers anonymize it. Names, client details, account numbers and other personal or identifying information are removed or transformed before the data goes anywhere near model training. Only the anonymized dataset is then used to train and evaluate the lab's AI models. Your company keeps ownership of its originals, and nothing you have not chosen to include is ever accessed.

  • No. The lab's engineers handle de-identification as part of the process, so you do not need to clean the data before transferring it.

  • There is no fixed file count or size. Depth of history, breadth across teams and relevance matter more than raw volume.

  • Your company is paid after the data is submitted and accepted by the AI lab. The lab reviews the dataset for completeness, and once it is accepted, payment is sent to your company directly under the license agreement. From submission to payment typically takes about 3 to 4 weeks. The biggest factor is how quickly your team prepares and transfers the data.

  • Yes. Demand is strongest for companies in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada, with documentation primarily in English.

  • No. Labs license an anonymized copy for a set term. You keep every original.

  • No. Customer names and part numbers are removed first.
